Restart Grant now includes Sports Clubs

The expansion of the Restart Grant scheme now includes sports clubs, which had previously been excluded. The majority of clubs will also be able to avail of the commercial rates waiver. These grants will provide a much needed cash boost to sports clubs that are at the heart of our communities.

The Cabinet have agreed that the current public health measures should remain in place until 10 August. We have agreed that the country will now NOT be progressing to Phase 4 of the Revised Roadmap for Reopening Society & Business.

Small Businesses need more support

It is a support Grant that will be made available to assist self-employed recipients who are exiting the Pandemic Unemployment Payment (PUP) scheme with a once-off grant of up to €1,000 to re-start their business
