Troy questions Government sleight of hand on childcare

Fianna Fáil Spokesperson on Children, Deputy Robert Troy, has questioned the detail of the proposals announced today on childcare, warning that the Government has made a number of claims that the small print simply does not stand up.

Longford Westmeath Fianna Fáil TD Robert Troy was commenting today after it was reported that a man is due to appear before Longford District Court in relation to an aggravated burglary that took place last Sunday morning.
A number of men were arrested near Edgeworthstown after threatening occupants of a house at knife point. One of the men will appear in court today and the second remains in custody.
