Fianna Fail TD Robert Troy contacted the ESB last Friday outling the need to let off water and monitor water levels and whilst this appears to be carried out water continues to rise at alarming rates. The Longford/Westmeath TD has now called on the County Council to dispatch emergency services to keep peoples houses from flooding and to assist those already affected.

14 Million underspent by this Govt on flood prevention shameful
Fianna Fáil TD Robert Troy has heavily criticised the Government for their irresponsible underspend on flood prevention over the last number of years.
