Troy receives assurances on Mullingar Garda Station

Local Fianna Fáil TD, Robert Troy has said that while some changes will be introduced to the operation of Mullingar Garda Station he has been assured that the Closed Circuit Television system will remain monitored.

Reports emerged earlier today that the station would be undergoing significant changes in operation that would likely adversely impact policing in the area. On foot of these reports Deputy Troy sought an urgent meeting with the local Superintendent, Alan Murray.

Troy seeks assurances on Road Traffic Act

Fianna Fáil Spokesperson on Transport, Robert Troy TD, has called on the Government to consolidate the Road Traffic Act and to ensure that no further disproportionate amendments are tabled by Minister Ross.
