I was born in 1965 the eldest son of native Kilbeggan parents Sean and Mary Daly. I began my education at my local primary school of Kilbeggan and then moved onto Secondary School in Kilbeggan also, where I would later return as a teacher. From Kilbeggan I went to continue my studies in Thomond College, which is now the University of Limerick.
